Martin Kreloff: A Retrospective

On view November 30, 2021 — March, 2022

The installation will feature Marty Kreloff’s “Pop Art-influenced” paintings, drawings, and new media works the artist is famous for. A long-time Miami resident, he is currently living and working in Las Vegas.

Marty Kreloff, born in Brooklyn, first exploded on Miami’s scene in 1976 with his first solo museum show Miami Says Art. His works are in the collections of several museums including New York’s Museum of Modern Art and in private collections around the world. Kreloff has been commissioned to make commercial pieces for several high-profile companies including Warner Bros., Universal Pictures, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Burger King Corporation, Intercontinental Banks, Harley-Davidson, the American Civil Liberties Union and Bloomingdale’s to name a few. The City of Las Vegas commissioned him to create a series of banners for their Cultural Corridor. The series, known as Pole Dancers, debuted in 2011 giving a visual guide to Las Vegas’s cultural institutions. In 2012, Kreloff was presented with the prestigious Mayor’s Urban Design Award for his contributions to the city.

Martin Kreloff: A Retrospective will feature a wide selection of his commercial work, his Hollywood stars series and portraiture from his early days to today. The exhibition is sponsored by Merle & Danny Weiss.
