The Museum is currently scheduling both in-person and virtual visits for students and educators.
In-person field trips include a tour of current exhibitions and option for a creative activity onsite.
Virtual field trips are available around the following exhibitions:
- Judith Leiber: Master Craftsman
- Zachary Balber: Tamim
- Will Eisner: Comic Creator, Illustrator and Innovator
- JMOF-FIU's Historic Stained Glass Windows
The Museum education team has designed in-person and virtual field trips for grades 3-12 incorporating STEAM curriculum dedicated to advancing students' observational, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
Through hands-on learning, problem-solving and visual-thinking strategies, the students make connections between the museum’s historical building and collection and the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
