Chocolate Toffee Matzah Crunch


4-6 sheets of Matzah

1 cup of butter (2 sticks)

1 cup of brown sugar

1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Sliced almonds (optional)

Sea salt (optional)


Step 1 - Preheat the over to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Step 2 - Place your sheets of matzah on the baking sheet.

Step 3 - Add the butter and sugar in a saucepan and  stir over medium heat until well blended.

Step 4 - Once the sugar mixture is bubbling, pour it on your sheets of matzah and spread it evenly using a spatula.

Step 5 - Place the baking sheet in the over for 8-10 minutes.

Step 6 - Remove from heat and sprinkle chocolate chips over the matzah. Spread the chocolate with a spatula and add optional toppings to taste.

Step 7 - Chill in the refrigerator for 45 minutes. 

Step 8 -  Cut the chocolate toffee matzah crunch into bite-size pieces and enjoy!
