Our inclusive programs accommodate students of various exceptionalities. Scroll through this page to learn about our unique offerings. • Public Schools and Youth Programs

Museum Tours introduce students to the many histories and cultures intersecting at the Museum. Our tours activate learning through facilitated exploration, kinesthetic activities, and creative projects.

Through a virtual classroom visit, our Climate Resilience at the Museum program empowers students to think critically and creatively about STEAM. Students will consider the challenges of living in Florida, strategically choosing designs for a climate-resilient home, and comparing their choices with their peers.

Our programs engage students at all Depth of Knowledge levels. They align to the current Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, covering Social Studies, the Visual Arts, Science, and the English Language Arts B.E.S.T. We strive to make our programs accessible to students with exceptionalities and English Language Learners.

  • Colleges and Universities

We inspire curious minds in subjects such as Atlantic history, sociology, Jewish studies, studio/fine arts, world languages, religious studies, education, art history, architecture, international/global studies, and Latin American and Caribbean studies. We fine-tune programs to participants in honors societies, registered student organizations, and other university groups.

Our Museum Tours empower visitors to tackle big questions about the intersections of culture, immigration, transnational histories, and community art. Visitors engage with these complexities through facilitated break-out discussions and reflection activities.

On November 14, for college visitors only, we are hosting an academic exhibit on the history of Jews and cannabis created by the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.

We ensure our program is accessible to students with exceptionalities as well as English Language Learners.

  • Synagogues, Jewish Schools, and Jewish Institutions

The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU is the only institution which explores the histories of Jewish Floridians. We teach the fascinating story of Florida's Jewish communities, from the first Sephardim who landed under the British flag to the heroic witnesses of the Holocaust who tackled antisemitism and spearheaded the Civil Rights Movement.
