Charlie Cinnamon: Legendary Press Agent

This one-of-a-kind retrospective about Charlie Cinnamon’s extraordinary work included never-before-seen treasures from his early years growing up in New York, his military service during World War II, and his illustrious career as “The Preeminent Theatrical Press Agent.” Charlie Cinnamon: Legendary Press Agent, is not only a tribute to one of the greatest talents in the industry but also a delicious look into the “behind the scenes” world of the entertainment industry.

The museum has received a trove of archival materials, photos and memorabilia that will comprise the extensive exhibition including photos of Charlie with such stars as Elizabeth Taylor and Carol Channing to name a few, who became Charlie’s close friends for life. “Public Relations is a title, Charlie made it an art form and no one was better,” said Broadway producer/director Richard Jay-Alexander, who is helping to produce the exhibition along with well-known photographer Manny Hernandez and members of the Cinnamon family.
