In partnership with Miami Jewish Film Festival, JMOF-FIU present this second in a three-part series of films featured in the movie posters on view in the current exhibition, CINEMA JUDAICA: The War Years, 1939-1949. GENTLEMAN’S AGREEMENT (20th Century Fox, 1947) received considerable pre-release opposition from several Jewish American organizations, and won Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actress.
