School Visits

Our goal is to make your visit an exciting adventure in Florida history and culture. Our programs are designed to complement your classroom curriculum while engaging, inspiring, stimulating and motivating your students to think and learn. Educational programs at the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU are designed with diverse, rich, multi-cultural and experiential approaches to learning. Our exhibits are recommended for students grade 4-12.

We Offer:

  • Guided Tours: Core exhibition, MOSAIC: Jewish Life in Florida and temporary art and history exhibits
  • Multimedia Experiences: Our exhibits are enriched with the use of primary source documents, photographs and artifacts (letters, clothing, documents) films and oral histories in order to reach diverse learners.
  • Student Workshops: Multi-disciplianry hands-on workshops using exhibit themes to make history come to life.
  • Curriculum Resources: Available for each of our exhibits, which include lesson plans as well as pre-visit, onsite and post-visit classroom activity ideas.
