ABOUT OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU invites you to participate in a wide range of educational programs that make history come to life. The photographs, stories, artifacts, historical documents and art in our Museum while reflective of the Jewish experience in Florida, embrace the shared immigrant experience in our society. Participants in our Museum experience soon recognize themselves in our stories and remark: "We are more alike than different."
Our educational programs are designed to enhance your teaching and learning experience while educating students in the traditions and experiences that form the foundations of Jewish life. Our goal is to provide a meaningful experience that links the Florida Jewish experience to our shared multicultural, national and global history.
Museum education programs are rooted in the benchmarks and desired outcomes of the Florida Sunshine State standards and the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT).
