SEEKING MATERIAL FOR FUTURE EXHIBITS:
FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
There is no one food or food group that the Florida Jewish community can call its own. From the pierogies of Poland to the salsas of South America, our palates are as diverse as the origins of our ancestors. This exhibition will comprise Floridian Jews in the food industry involved in growing, preparing, distributing, cooking (chefs) and serving (restaurants, hotels, delis, menus) the foods we love. In Jewish life, food is often a basis for gathering with friends and family to observe and celebrate traditions and life cycle events.
Please contact the Museum’s Registrar at 786-972-3176 for possible inclusion of your documents, photographs, artifacts and stories in these exhibits. Thank you!
