PJ Library Family Program “Mural Painting at the (Jewish) Art Museum”

Event information
Venue:Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU

Fun & educational program in conjunction with Daniel Chimowitz: Walking Canvases. Family activity includes family friendly exhibit tour, story time and art project. For ages 3 to 9.

Our historic buildings are bounding with ArtBasel featured artist Daniel Chimowitz’s art everywhere! Brightly colored site-specific murals fill the space and serve as backdrop to Walking Canvases – upcycled fashion that is unique as is every soul!

Story time features (2017) Shmulik Paints the Town written by Lisa Chottiner and Illustrated by Catalina Echeverri. Our craft activity permits color-safe mural painting to complement the professional work that informs the program.

Free Admission. Call Chaim Lieberperson at 786-972-3187 or clieberp@fiu.edu for details.
